Haiku

This is just a haiku I made for my work today about Lord of the Rings, that I think might be enjoyed.
Gandalf was well known
Throughout the Shire in fall
But sadly, he’s gone.
It's not that great, but it's my first time doing a haiku.

    That is a very nice Haiku.

    Haiku's are a lot of fun to write because you only have 17 beats to say everything. I have been writing haikus for years - I enjoy the challenge. Did you know that there is even a Haiku Society of America?
