Another short story

This one is actually a dragon slaying one.

Arthur was in the middle of his initiation to become a warrior, when suddenly, he saw a purple creature. He thought it was the animal he was supposed to capture. But, right as he was drawing his bow, he heard someone talking to him. As he listened, he saw it was the purple creature in front of him. It said to him, “Do not be alarmed. I am a dragon.” Arthur was confused. He had seen many dragons, and knew his friends had dragons, but he had never seen a purple dragon. “How can this be? There has never been a purple dragon before.” Arthur thought. He then realized that he still had to find the animal for his initiation. He looked throughout the forest for 15 more minutes, but kept finding the purple dragon. He couldn't understand. He looked in that area, and thought that it might be underneath the dragon. He knew that all dragons reached their full weight and size only if they are with their chosen human or elf, in the case of Arthur and his friends. He and his friends were all elves. So he picked up the tiny dragon and realized just what this dragon was, as all elves and humans relive the memories of their chosen dragon when they first get it. He saw nothing, except for other dragons of all colors. Then he realized that this dragon was still young. It had seen many other dragons though, but it was still young. He realized that no matter how many other dragon's he touched, this had never happened to him. He understood what this meant. He had finally found his dragon. As he realized this, he found the animal he was looking for. After doing that, he went back to his home and became a warrior. After becoming a warrior, he went to see the elder and his blue dragon, who knew all the legends of elves and humans. As Arthur told the elder of his journey for his initiation, the elder realized what Arthur's dragon was. “This is the legendary purple dragon, of which there has only ever been 1 in history. This purple dragon had come when there was a great evil lurking. I think this might be the sane purple dragon in the legend.” The elder said. “But what does this mean? Am I a hero?” Arthur wondered aloud. “I would think so.” said the elders dragon. “But you are not a hero yet. You will have to destroy the black dragon and it's human. Unfortunately, this will be hard as the black dragon has poisonous breath, and can turn invisible.” “So, what am I to do?” Arthur asked. His dragon walked in and said, “It seems we will have to leave and find this evil dragon and it's human, Arthur.” “I think you are right, dragon.” Arthur said. The elder thought, “Has Arthur gone insane? No, that cannot be.” Suddenly the elders dragon said, “It seems as though the purple dragon can communicate telepathically with it's chosen human or elf.” That had been what was happening earlier. “This will give me a great advantage in the fight against the black dragon.” Arthur told his dragon. “It certainly will be.” his dragon said. “So, what shall I do now, elder?” Arthur asked. “You will have to find the black dragon, and kill him, though no one knows where the black dragon dwells.” the elder said. As the elder was talking, Arthur realized something. “My bow won't be of much use at close range. What kind of sword could I use?” Arthur said. “Maybe a short sword, or possibly a broadsword.” The elder suggested. “I think maybe a broadsword would work, as it is still pretty long, so I could slice into the dragon at a slightly shorter range, but it could be more effective than my arrows,” Arthur said, “even if I dipped my arrows in poison.” The elder thought for a while, then spoke. “It is ritual for all who become warriors to be presented with a sword, so this came just in time. This is your chance to shine, and prove that we elves are not weak, and can win in the fight against evil.” the elder said. “How could this black dragon destroy the world, though?” Arthur asked. “The black dragon might use his poison breath after digging a hole, therefore permeating the earth, destroying it,” the elders dragon said. “Let's get going then, my dragon,” Arthur said. “My name is Kennan,” Kennan communicated to him telepathically. “Okay, Kennan, let's go,” Arthur said. After grabbing his broadsword and making sure his quiver was fully stocked, Arthur and Kennan set off on their journey to find the black dragon. But little did they know that the black dragon was also hunting them. However, this dragon didn't need a rider, as no dragon needs a rider, but it helps in combat. The black dragon, known as Scal, was hungry, but not for food. The black dragon has the rare ability to consume a dragon and gain it's claw length and scale number. It had recently consumed an orange dragon, gaining its long claws and strong armor. Right as it was about to consume a yellow, to gain it's incredible luck, an arrow got stuck between 2 of it's scales. Out popped Arthur and Kennan from the bushes. “That must be Scal,” Arthur said to Kennan. “It must be, he's pitch black.” Kennan said. Right then, Scal disappeared, except for a slight shimmer in the air. “That can't be good,” Kennan said. As they were wondering where Scal could be, Arthur remembered he had shot an arrow into Scal's leg! As he looked for it he finally saw it! He jumped off Kennan and slashed near there with his broadsword, and ended up cutting Scal's tail. Now they could follow the blood from Scal's cut tail. Arthur shot more arrows into Scal, and one got him right in the heart. As Scal was dying, he reached forward and used his poison breath on Arthur and Kennan. Now, that was going to be bad. Luckily, the yellow dragon had not fled, and cured the poison from Scal. But, Scal's poison couldn't be neutralized that easily. This actually sped up the poison going through their bodies. Right as they were about to get into the elf village, they died. The elder found Arthur and Kennan, and buried them together, as Dragon and rider.

Matt likes his music.

Yeah, it's not a great title, but it works, as Matt now has a computer which he can play his music on. Unfortunately, I taught him how to speed songs up, which he now loves doing. Of course, I like doing it as well. I really like doing it with Dream on, by Aerosmith, an awesome band. Tomorrow will be an easy blog post, as I will show you all my dragon slayer short story.

double update.

What i meant by that is that I am just giving you a quick update on 2 things. the first is that I am on the last restaurant in Dinerdash, not including the sushi restaurant, which I have all the levels for. I'm pretty good, but at the new place, You are a goddess and have 4 hands. Freaky, isn't it? I also got 5 volumes of manga from Ian yesterday, and I read them in the same day. That kind of stinks. i am such a fast reader.

Diner Dash.

Okay first of all, don't think of me as a girl for liking this game. I just think it is fun, understood? I am actually very good at it. The opening cutscene is hilarious. So, Flo works at a big buisness, and has so much stuff to do, and people keep adding to her workload, so she runs into an alley, and sees a rundown diner. She spruces it up, and has a new diner for her work. She owns it and runs it, along with a chef. She is waiter, busboy, and seater. She takes care of everyone. There are 5 resaurants that you get by just getting all regualr goals, but there are more if you get 5 experts on a single place. There are 6. The first 5 you get easy. Just beat all 10 levels for each restaurant and get the mandatory goal. But if you are good and get good chains like I can, I can get expert for most levels. I do pretty well. When you get 5 experts, you then get 4 bonus levels for the sushi restaurant. It is not needed, but it's going to be fun. I'm currentley on the 4th restaurant you have to do, and having fun with it. Frankly, it might be kind of a girly game, but I like it. Don't you think of me as a girl, got it?!?!?!?!

Revenge of the evil riddle spiders

Yes, I had to answers the riddles of spiders. It's actually a computer software from the critical thinking company. And I'm not good at riddles. So it was hard. I did have fun with it, though. I did actually like it. I'm going to continue using it for my bright minds.

What is cofee?

C) a liquid substance that is addictive. or D) A bitter liquid that contains 200 milligrams of caffeine. If you answered A, C, or D, you are incorrect. Actually all answers are correct, but to me and my father, it is B, the Elixir of the gods. When you first wake up and need caffeine, what do you look for? Tea? less caffeine, but tastier. No, you look for cofee, with twice the caffeine of tea, it is much better, and a proper elixir of the gods.

Jon ticks me off.

The reason for my title is that yesterday, me, matt, and jon were at the zoo, doing our schoolwork, but not jon. Nope, he's running around, making it impossible for me and Mattto work, so now, me and Matt have 2 days of scholwork to do today. And that is all Jon's fault.

well, this is annoying.

I'm such a reader. All the manga Ian let me borrow on tuesday, I've already finished reading. Of course, it was only 5 volumes, but still, it is kind of annoying, so I guess I could ask if I could come over to his house on Saturday, and hand him his manga back. But that is getting slightly annoying. I hope I can get a larger number of Manga volumes this tuesday.

We have our 44th president!

Well, The inauguration of our 44Th president has come and gone. He had an excellent speech, and I believe that our new president can make world peace. He said that he will offer his hand to those who wish harm, as long as they unclench their fist so we can offer him our hand. Barack Obama wishes to extend peace to all faiths and countries. Barack Obama, our 44Th president, and our first black President. This is truly a momentous occasion, as Martin Luther King did everything in his power to rid America of Segregation. Without Martin Luther King, Barack Obama would not be our 44Th president.

Movie homework?!?! Cool!

Yes, it is true. I have to watch a movie for my schoolwork. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! no, that is not real. I didn't hypnotize my mom so I could watch a movie for part of my homework today. I have to watch macbeth, the play by Shakespeare, as J.RR. Tolkien watched the play, which then influenced his writing. So, I have to watch a movie for homework. Weird, yes. Slightly cool, definetley.

it's thursday

While it might not seem interesting, it actually is, as Matt, nick, and jon all have Swim class today,meaning i wil be going to the library, seeing what their manga selection is. I can't wait to read a lot of manga at the library today.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGH!!!

Yes, i did just scream as i thought of what I was going to do for my blog post today. Unfortunately, I had a long car drive, and you know what that means. reading. I grabbed what was closest. unfortunately, that was vol. 3 of death note. i just didn't stop reading. Then, I finished up vol.7 soon after we came in. I FINISHED 6 VOLUMES OF MANGA In 2 days!!! Which, believe you me, stinks. Ah, well. On tuesday, I will give Ian vol 2&3 of D. Gray Man, and vol.1&2 of Dragon drive. I will return him his Deathnote, and ask for some Bleach instead. This could get good.

Today= manga, bowling, and poppycock!

What was meant in my title is that today, I will have schoolwork to do (as usual). But, when it hits time to go bowling, the day will be much better. So, obviously, we are going to be bowling, but the manga part is because Ian will be there, and he's bringing some Death note manga. I don't know which volumes, but I will definetley read them there. Then we will most likely go to safeway where, because I am bringing 7 dollars, I can buy some poppycock. Poppycock is so tasty. I mean the popcorn with glaze and nuts, which is so good. Well, I should probably get to work know. Bye.

King of lost!

Yes, I am the king of lost. As in, you want something lost, I'll lose it in seconds. I'm constantly misplacing thongs, and this time I left my LOTR questions book somewhere and can't find it. So, I truly am the king of lost.

24:1 The Hell Screen by I. J. Parker

It's an interesting read. a fast-paced murder mystery set in 11Th century japan, the hell screen is a roller-coaster ride of surprises. In the prologue, the action is started with the killing of a young girl, who was choked to death, and, while dead, a couple slash off her face, and decapitate the dead child. On that same night, Sukewara akitada is returning back to his home, as his mother is dying.
That's it for getting you into the book. I liked it, even if the action was occasionally a little slow. I thought it interesting that a painter in the book would take a year to paint a screen with all 4 seasons on it. It seems to be full of Confucian knowledge. I'd say 9/10. Pretty good book, all in all.

RB 2 is gonna rock!

I know for certain, because we got it yesterday, but are going to play it tomorrow with mike and Dad. 1 thing we found but couldn't get at Gamestop yesterday was GH: Metallica! however, it's for the PS3, which we don't have. Rock Band 2 has got some cool songs like pinball wizard, by the Who. Tonight is also going to be fun, as Tonight is game night! i can show Ian Pokemon Ranger: shadows of almia, and N+, a game we got yesterday, which is really cool.

Well, today has been a good day, as I have done some work and gotten farther in Pokemon Rangers: shadows of almia. It's actually a lot of fun. Matt's been having some pains, and I've been hungry a lot lately. The zoo trip was fun, and I got my Grammer done there, and got started on my Algebra. i also got a wolf puppet and mood necklace. It's just heat sensitive, realy. I've also been very cold lately. Ah, well. Talk to you later.

This month isn't gonna be really awesome.

The reason for my title is because I lost my privilege to play violent video games until the las day of the month. I also had lost my DS for a week, but I get that back today. The 2 non-violent video games I like playing for the DS are Diner dash: sizzle and serve (Its fun, a little annoying, but it's got a sushi restaurant.) , andPokemon Ranger: shadows of Almia. Diner dash is rated E for nothing, really, and Pokemon Ranger: shadows of Almia is rated i think E for mild Cartoon violence, but my mom says pokemon violence is okay. However, it still is annoying as most of the games for my Video game systems that I like are violent. However, at least I have some non-violent video games.

What happened to winter break!

I can't believe it, my winter break is over! I had a lot of fun in my new games, and now that time is over! Now I have to do schoolwork! It kind of stinks, but now I can get a new book if i read 24 new books in a year. Mom managed 104 last year. can you believe it! And she finished the last book minutes before 2009. That is scary. I'm currently working on 2 books, which are Ender in Exile and the Hell screen. I'm not close to halfway through the hell screen yet, but it's a cool book. I still can't believe it's 2009, and next year I get my learner's permit. more stuff that I know happens this year tomorrow.
