Well, NaNoWriMo is over, and I didn't hit the 25,000 I needed to.

Oh well. It was fun for a little while, but then, it wasn't that much fun. Maybe I'll be more into it next year.

A lot of my friends do NaNoWriMo, and as adults they have to hit 50,000 words! And it takes them a few years to learn how to pace themselves to write that many words. It's a lot of discipline and work to reach the magic number.
I'm sure you will get there next year, now that you have the feel for it.
