My smithing lvl is low, but I can almost mine gold!
Yeah, bit of a dilemma. As you can see by the title, my smithing lvl is low, only 29. The highest thing I can make is 2 handed iron swords, but with one lvl, I can start making steel. My mining only needs 1 lvl to start being able to mine gold. Gold will be easy to get, but it will be a pain in the neck to smith. Or perhaps I could just store a couple bags of gold in my bank, and smith them at the same time. That would work. Course, it's gonna take a while to start making gold.

If I recall, gold isn't that hard to find, and it is worth about 5k once smithed, making it a good moneymaker. Of course, I usually go the member way and mine pure essence when trying to make money, because that is a lot faster than mining iron and turning it into iron bars, which is pointless to do unless you are a member because without a member's only ring, you only have a 50% success ratio in making iron.
My smithing is now lvl 33, the problem is that people are generally hogging the coal, making it harder to make the steel.
