Why? how can making 1000 pie dishes not get my crafting to lvl 40?!

I'm serious, this is a national crisis! I have almost made 1000 pie dishes for matthew, and I don't have lvl 40 crafting! 'Course, I'm not done, but it's taking forever to do! And mining silver is completely ineffecient, as it takes forever to respawn. The only thing I could do would be to sell my 9 tiaras (I made them, and no, they are not girly! Actually, they are good for runecrafting.), take the money from those, and buy silver ore off the Grand exchange, make them into silver bars, make more tiaras, and make an endless cycle of easy crafting xp! Though, of course, if I were a member, I could get my crafting lvl up by making things in the workshop of my in-game house. But I'm not, so my crafting can't go up as easily. However, I'm thinking that maybe I could buy a crossbow bolt mould, and make crafting xp that way! Though of course, mining the silver gets my mining xp up. And I might be able to find gems to cut. So, sigh, the old fashioned way it is.

If I recall, the workshop mostly only helps for construction.

that might be true, but if it was, why would it be under the crafting lvl? Also, what is your runescape username?
